Me and my PT Cruiser
I ordered Delilah (as she was fondly known) in November 1999. None had even been built then but it was love at first sight after the motor show. It was 9 long months before I took delivery on July 14th 2000 of a standard PT Cruiser. She was a real traffic stopper at that time. In 2001 we went to a PT Cruiser convention in Las Vegas and I bought some chrome bits. A grill and some side pillar posts. That was the start. She has gone through a lot since then with the addition of chrome bits everywhere until lately I referred to her as 'Flash'. She may yet undergo another metamorphosis.
Whilst waiting I started UK Cruisers the club for PT afficionados. It took off like a rocket. We have small area meetings all over the country. Cruises to Europe and in August our big annual weekend meeting. There are now 5 of us running the club and it still takes much of our time. But we have fun!!

One week old!! She's gone through a lot as you'll see the comparison from the photo on the front page, including a change of number pate.
